New markings for Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Spitfire and Hurricane

Pleased to reveal Spitfire P7350 and Hurricane LF363 in new markings for 60th anniversary season 2017, paying tribute to four of “the few” who took part in the Battle of Britain and are still with us to this day.

P7350’s port side is marked up as QJ-G, representing Geoffrey Wellum’s 92 squadron spitfire.
P7350’s starboard side is marked up as QV-E, to commemorate Ken Wilkinson and his 19 squadron spitfire.

LF363’s port side is marked up as GN-F, representing Tom Neil and his 249 squadron Hurricane.
LF363’s starboard side is marked up with SD-A, representing one of the 501 squadron Hurricanes flown by Paul Farnes.

Lest We Forget.
