Aerospatiale SA-330L Puma (tail)

Remains of the boom of the tail of the injured Aerospatiale SA-330L Puma PA-11, incorporated in 1980. In 1982 it participated in the Malvinas conflict deployed in the continent, on April 12, together with the PA-12, it joined Task Force 50, operating from Rio Grande, from April 24, it operates from the “Search and Rescue Station in Río Gallegos” until June 20, when it returned to its base in Puerto Nuevo, Buenos Aires. Exposed in “Aerplata 97”, on January 11, 1997 it is damaged when it collided with L-188E 6-P-106 due to displacement on land, which took place due to a heavy storm. Fallen to the Atlantic Ocean on March 20, 2000 when he was conducting a rescue on the high seas with adverse weather.
