Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum, only five minutes from Downtown Charleston, is home to the aircraft carrier USS YORKTOWN, WWII’s Fighting Lady. The museum also includes the destroyer LAFFEY, the submarine CLAMAGORE, a recreation of a Vietnam Naval Support Base, 28 historic military aircraft, the Congressional Medal of Honor Society’s Museum, numerous displays and exhibits.
