US Citizens without a DoD ID card must stop at the Travis AFB Visitor’s Center and check in with the security staff. All adults 18 and over must have a valid photo ID and complete a background check before receiving a pass.  Please allow enough time for your visit and the background check to be completed. Visitors are only shuttled to and from the Visitor’s Center and the Heritage Center. If you would like a base tour you must contact Travis AFB Public Affairs.

Non-US Citizens: Due to heightened security, all non-US citizens must coordinate their visit to the Heritage Center at least 2 weeks prior to the date of their visit. Please contact us for specific information required (+1 707-424-8180 or heritagecenter1214@live.com).

The Museum has a representative collection of American military aircraft. Its exhibits showcase Jimmy Doolittle and the Tokyo Raiders, the 15th AF in WWII, the Tuskegee Airmen, the Consairways story, the Berlin Airlift, and the history of Travis AFB.
