The museum shows in several former factory buildings mainly tanks, artillery, anti-aircraft and anti-tank guns of the Swiss army and other armies.
A special feature is the complete works collection of the former weapons manufacturer Oerlikon-Bührle, which mainly comprises anti-aircraft and aircraft weapons. The museum also owns a German V1 aerial bomb, a Reichenberg device, as well as engines and anti-aircraft batteries from British and American bombers that crashed or made an emergency landing in Switzerland.
