Chatham Historic dockyard in the Medway Towns. It was a huge Naval shipyard that closed down in about 1984. A large part of it has been turned into a brilliant museum of gigantic proportions with all manor of interest connected to shipping, not just naval.
It is often used for film locations as there are many original Victorian buildings, the biggest being the Ropery which still does demonstration today.
